University report reviews local economy
Sanjay Varshney, dean of Sacramento State's College of Business Administration, joined Mayor Kevin Johnson today to announce the release of the Sacramento Business Review's mid-year update.
The latest edition of the Sacramento Business Review reports on emerging trends and forecasts in the areas of real estate, employment, capital markets including the stock market, corporate performance in Sacramento and the energy outlook. The report is available online at
www.sacbusinessreview.com.
The review was edited and produced by Varshney, in partnership with Jason Bell, former CFA Society of Sacramento president.
"I'm extremely delighted that the mayor has once again come back to rely on the most comprehensive economic analysis for the region," Varshney says.
The follow-up report is an update to the initial Sacramento Business Review released in January. The report is described by Varshney as the first independent review and forecast that focuses specifically on the economy of Sacramento.
